Albeit having purchased AV Odyssey’s first domain on July 9th, 2004, the story began much further back…

Like many, I first know of Alec and Vicki through Qiong Yao’s Huan Zhu Ge Ge series. Vicki’s rare beauty (with her enormous eyes) captivated my attention from the beginning. And gradually, I fell in love with her carefree role along with the thoughtful man who always came to her rescue – Alec. Their chemistry grew stronger in part two; I smiled at their innocence, laughed at their fights/jealousies, and “awwed” whenever they reconciled. The second part was much longer than the first, of which I was very thankful! But even so, it seemed I couldn’t get enough of them! So I began the search for av-related materials online. I was ecstatic when I discovered that Alec had gallantly stated his attraction toward Vicki to the media. So there was meaning behind his loving gaze after all! And good news soon trailed after one another. Upon knowing of AV’s third collaboration – Old House Has Joy – I immediately went to my movie rental place. Unfortunately, the store didn’t have it in stock. :( My spirit wasn’t wavered, however, as I was determined to see Alec and Vicki in a modern setting. I called up my brother-in-law that evening and asked him to find the series for me as where he lives has a bigger Vietnamese community. Two weeks later, the Vietnamese dubbed tapes arrived. The moment Alec took off his sunglasses and grinned charmingly, I knew I was in for a good show. Unfortunately, I was only partially correct. The series reinforced AV undeniable chemistry, but the plot was dull, predictable, and the development extremely slow. Yet, I never once gave up being an AV fan. My search continued and I was rewarded with the discovery of Winglin Fanfiction. My hours were soon spent reading (and sometimes re-reading) stories written by fellow AV fans. Eventually, I emerged from my silent reader’s shell to become an author at Winglin. This new “status” allowed me to make many great friends from across the world. They all shared my AV passion, and are always willing to lend a helping hand. The friendships they gave me are the best reward of being an AV fan, no doubt!

With the support from many, along with my already vast collection of AV products, AV Odyssey was given birth – a site that beckons you to embark on a journey with us as Alec and Vicki ascend the entertainment industry, leaving visible marks and impressions in the hearts of many.
